Minus the Bear - Hey, Is That a Ninja Up There?
Minus the Bear is yet another band I found on Pandora Radio. They are classified as an experimental / math rock band. I don’t really care what you call them but they play some pretty cool music. They have a unique sound that is consistent on most of their albums. My favorite album of theirs is one of their older EPs called They Make Beer Commercials Like This. Odd name, huh? Well one of the staples of the band is their strange (and often long) names for their albums and songs. For instance, check out the wacky nomenclature going on in this SOTW…

About freakin’ time!!!
Update: Trying right now… we’ll see how it goes.
I’m not happy about this at all. I can’t see the case for giving Hardy a title shot.

Love this fight. Not sure if Belfort is ready for this but we’ll find out, now won’t we?
Michael Rome of Bloody Elbow makes a great case for merging the WEC and the UFC. I’m really digging his TUF idea.
Mashable does it again with an awesome article on some sites around the net that you may not be aware of but should be. It’s a great read if you’re looking for some new “daily” sites.
This is an old article but, man, is it super gross. Thanks for Chad for sending this to me and brightening up my day.
I’m really hoping that the Woot-Off brings me a good deal on one of the handheld HD cams that I posted a few days ago.

“Windows: If you like to mix up your Windows wallpaper, the latest version of John’s Background Switcher lets you do it from almost any web source, and in any specific way you want to match your monitors.”
Going to check this out. One of things I really like about Win7 is the wallpaper slideshow. Until Win7 ships, maybe this can replace that functionality in Vista. So far, it works pretty damn good. There’s a ton of options and tweaks. However, the fade-to-next-wallpaper is a pretty rough transition.
